Brief:
Create a design outcome which celebrates and informs an audience about a selected topic, the design might echo the visual language of the original or re-evaluate it for a new audience.

Outcome:
I designed a gatefold vinyl cover based on Chris James’s albums, “The Fear of Missing Out” and “The Weight of Nostalgia”. I used the themes of these songs to create an illustrative design that echoed the nostalgia and memories highlighted in the lyrics but in a fun and exciting way to reflect the happy and upbeat style of music.

 
I used this visual language that I created to produce a range of ephemera to go along with the vinyl as a collection that celebrates the music in order to appeal to the current and a new audience.
